1. Run AVS DVD Authoring executable using the desktop shortcut or the Programs section of the Start menu, the main window will be loaded together with the AVS DVD Authoring Wizard one:

In that window switch to the Advanced mode and then click Finish:

2. Choose the menu style you like best from the Select Preset window by switching between the subject categories or click the general All category containing all the presets inside if it is more suitable for you. Then press the OK button:

3. Click the Video Files item from the Navigation Panel tree and press the Import Video button:

Select the necessary videos from the same directory and click Open:

The Video Files item will contain all the added videos.

4. Click one of the added videos with the mouse right button and choose Chapters Setup Wizard from the contextual menu:

Select the suitable option in the appeared window and press OK:

Chapter pages will be created.
5. If you, for instance, dislike how many chapter pages have been created you can get rid of the unnecessary ones by increasing the quantity of chapters on a page. Click one of the chapter page item from the Navigation Panel tree. Open the Page Layouts tab and make the mouse double click on the patterns until that brings about the decrease of the chapter page(s) (the window that suggests removing the empty pages will appear):

6. If you want the pages to have music playing in background then select the corresponding page item from the Navigation Panel tree, click the Background Music sub-item and press the Select file button from the Properties panel:

7. Now when the structure of your DVD menu is defined, you should build it and then burn. Click the Build DVD button from Top Toolbar:

In the appeared window assign the suitable value for System and Quality and don't forget to check the Burn DVD when building is completed successfully using option, choosing the necessary DVD-R drive (in case you have more than one) from the drop-down list of the Burning section. Make sure a DVD-R/RW disc is inserted into the DVD-R drive and its capacity is enough (choose the corresponding size from the drop down list of the Disc Usage section to learn that) then press the Build DVD button:

You will be suggested to assign a target directory to store the DVD files in and then click OK:

When building is over, burning will start. Wait for the burning to be finished and enjoy watching your DVD using a stationary DVD player.
